an accident.

last night, our beautiful Becka was at her ballet dance dress rehearsal and something terrible happened. she was running across the stage and all of a sudden, her ballet slippers ribbon came untied and she tripped and fell. she fell of the stage! luckily it was not the biggest drop, but still she had to go to the hospital and she couldn't walk on her leg. we were quickly informed and we (well actually our mama) rushed to the hospital to take care of her. about 45 minutes later we got a call from mom that we could go see her. we decided-- wait... no we'll just tell you in a photo story. :) :

here we are waiting to go see becka.

we decided to bring some entertainment. we brought some thing in becka's nutcracker bag.

and some cookies and a toy in her bucket.
here we are. ohhh... just look at poor becka. :(

she is looking at all her things we brought for her.

"oh yea! my lala loopsy and kit's famous cookies"
we found the white board and we drew some pretty pictures on it.

we talked to her about her adventure. "why don't you put on your bunny slippers," phoenix asked. "well," began Becka well munching on a cookie, "i pretty much only have one leg right now."

Pheonix jumped off the bed and kit quickly turned around. "oh yea becka, let us see!"
she pulled back the covers and there was a zebra cast on the dancers leg. "wow!" phoenix and kit said together.

"well, we can try and get the slipper on!"

"ta da, see that works!"

soon becka had to go get her pjs on. we had to help her walk.
once she got back we asked if we could do her hair, she being so good natured said yes. :)

we braided it and she got back in position. we asked if she was going to come home. she said, "my nurse said that most people can go home as soon as they get their cast on but, since we all share a bed, i have to stay here and rest a little longer, in my own bed."

we were all very sad, but of course we had to say goodbye. we had a big group hug before we left. ;)

here we are saying goodbye. hopefully she will be able to come home soon. :)
